so about a year ago, i was in a band that played all covers. it was ok except for an incident where the singer didn't know the words to stairway to heaven (his own fault) and got pissed off and walked out mid-song. he's had a history of LSD (lead singer's disease) and later got hauled off to jail for some pretty serious stuff (i'm not going to discuss what he did). anywho, he's out of jail and wants me to come back with our old drummer to be in a metal band. he's really tried to clean his life up after prison. should i do it?

If he is in fact cleaning up, try it.

Find out if he's serious before you do it.

If he is, yeah go for it.
