this is the most crap band ever.

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I want an amp good for playing hippie tunes. I want it to be an actual amp, not a tube amp.

They are sooooooo fucking bad. The vocals are crap all around, the Kelly Clarkson cover is not funny/good/'witty', and they play the most boring pop-punk to metalcore ever.
#12
whats so ****ing great about this band theres this guy at my school who has like 3 shirts from them im like...erm they suck
#15
It's horribly boring.

The pop-punk parts are not.. good, at all really.
The breakdowns are beyond stupid. They sound like the breakdowns people put in songs to PICK on breakdowns.

CHUG.. CHUGCHUG CHUGCHCHCHCHUGGGG

Really not complex or interesting. And the guys growls sound stupid.

And also just personal preference.

They're not a brilliant band, so nobody has to like them.

Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals are better.

I always saw them as a crappier Senses Fail.

Are you serious?

Not that ADTR are all that great, but they are miles ahead senses fail who have become complete **** in everyway possible.

I have the latest ADTR cd, is it a great cd? Not really, but is it fun? Yeah, it is. Its NOT hardcore, and out of the whole cd I really only enjoy 4 or 5 songs, but those 4 or 5 songs I really enjoy. They have a fun pop sound to thier music and remind me of a slighty heavier Set Your Goals, although SYG are much much much better.

Overall, not an amazing band by any means, but a good listen from time to time.

Four Year Strong are absolutely ****ing terrible.
Generic pop-punk with metalcore drumming? **** right off.

im gonna have to agree with the previous statement. i never really listened to four year strong, i just assumed they were decent. but i listened to one of their songs, and it sounded like fall out boy with a ****ty breakdown. ew.

it was amazing.

Daggermouth + The Ergs> every band mentioned in this thread.

They're not talking about hardcore punk, they're talking about "hardcore." It has little in common with its roots in the '80s.

Haha. Our Guitar Center has one of the dudes from O-Town working there now. Jacob, he has long dreads. It's weird how you can go from being in a big boy band to working at Guitar Center.

Absolutely.
The Ergs are probably the best pop-punk band I've ever heard, Descendents included.

The Ergs are absolutely amazing. And if anyone claims to be into then new breed of pop-punk hardcore and doesn't worship 'Milo Goes To College' then I don't know where you're at foo'.
