I was skimming through forums not too long ago and i came across a rather interesting piece.at the time i wasnt listening to radiohead so it didnt really interest me but ive been thinking about it since.someone posted a fact which read something like,'when radiohead released (song name) 0.02% of the teenage population killed themselves.'

a rumour?
it most probably is.
but it was still rather intriguing.

has anyone ever came across this before?
does anyone know what song it was?
or would anyone like to suggest what song it was?

small percentage anyway...

The teenage population is atleast 350 million. 0.02 percent of that is a fairly significant amount of people.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to put it, along with your other advice, into a book, the pages of which I will then use to wipe my ass.

Could just be radiohead teens?

though in England alone I bet theres a few hundred thousand.

I only know about some teenagers committing suicide during Fade to Black a few years ago. Was that true?

i just remember it was failry small.
though still, i remember it being a large proportion.

Radiohead might be depressing.
But to pin any suicide solely on music is pretty ridiculous.

i think weve gathered that mate.like i said i read it and i dont believe it.but i still dont think you understood what i said.take another look.i said yes it most probably is a rumour.

i didnt create this thread to argue whether or not its true.i simply asked if anyone has read something similar or if they can suggest what song may be the reasoning as to why.

but thanks for the inputs though.

I thought you meant all the members of radiohead had killed themselves....

And how do they know those suicides are related to the song? Did they just take the date of the song and see who killed themselves within 30 days of that? I'm willing to believe that 0.02% of the teen population dies every month or so anyways.
I'm a communist. Really.
