I have wireless internet, and i want to get a computer in my garage. My wireless only just makes it up there, so i want a resender/booster thing to resend it from the very back of my house. Do they make things like that, and if so, do they work with netgear routers?

Im pretty sure youll have to have a computer in between the garage computer and router.
Alternately you could use a longer Ethernet cable between your modem and router, I have a 15m one that i use for such things or when i want to download a large file faster with the cable rather than wireless.

physically move the router closer to the garage (if possible)
annnd not sure if this is true but apparently if you leave doors open, the signal can become stronger

either move to router closer or get a stronger wireless router

There are USB wireless cards, if you found one with a long USB cable or got yourself an USB extension cable, you'd probably get what you want.
