So here soon my parents are getting me a new amp(currently using guitar amp so anything will do), I was thinking of getting a Fender 2x10 100watt rumble for 349, But at a local pawn shop there is a 115 watt ampeg for around the same price. So which should I get, I heard Ampeg are really nice amps. But i have yet to try out the Ampeg amp. So Anyone have any suggestions?

Yea I have Yet to try it out Actually I'm Trying out today! But when I looked at it it didn't look in bad shape at all look quite new actually< like someone just played. No drops or dents. But I'm guessing an Ampeg would give me a better Bass tone than a fender correct? Cause I can't wait to get that bass tone, I've played On a 15w guitar amp since last christmas(Ha i've had it to max quite a few times, yet it hasn't blown yet, Guess I'm lucky)So Ampeg > Fender?

Well, cheap ampegs don't really get that classic tube Ampeg tone.

But I'mnot a fan of Fender bass amps either. Just pick whichever you prefer.

Consider Ashdown. You get more bang for your buck (or whatever currency you're using) than pretty much any of the lower end (read: not flagship model) Ampegs.
And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me: no, nor woman neither... nor women neither.
