I've got a slight but noticable inward bow- from the 4th fret to 22nd. My question is do I crank left or right on my rod and what is the suggested pace of turning? I've got an Ibanez RGTdxfx neck thru the body guitar. Thanks for your time and input.

Its quite normal to have a little relief in the neck like this. Its caused by the string tension pulling the neck forwards. You need to tighten the truss in a clockwise (right) direction to counteract it. Start with a quarter of a turn, then another quarter until your happy with it. Dont over-tighten it coz you could snap the rod. Then you'll have a useless guitar.
If your a little worried about doing it, get someone who knows what there doing to take a look.
