I'm sure this has been done, but I haven't seen a thread like this, and I wanted to show of my new baby and see what all you guys are rockin. So POST YOUR AMPS !!!!!!!!

Just did the Bias mod to it, and re-tubed it with a high gain package of JJ tubes from Eurotubes (if you don't know what eurotubes is, i recommend checking it out for all your tube amp needs - www.eurotubes.com )

I took this pick with my cell phone so it isn't the best quality but you can see it well enough.

niiice. i just modded my Blues Jr. for more presence.

it's got Weber 12F150 speaker, 3 TungSol 12AX7 tubes, 2 JJ/Tesla EL84 tubes, and a weber minimass attenuator on top.

also got a JCM2000 DSL401 combo. haven't done much modding yet. it's sounding real bad, i think it needs another surgery.
4 EHX 12AX7 tubes, and stock EL84s (i think these need to go).

I didn't like Tungsol, and I replaced my 12AX7's with JJ ECC83S's. I've used Tungsol and Sovtek and so far my favorite has to be JJ's. They have awesome tone and are bad ass for high gain amps. I play deathcore so they work really nice for my tone.

My Taiwanese Peavey 212.

It may be no Hiwatt but it has everything I need:

A killer lead tone for power metal, a great mellow jazz tone, and some great rock tones.

Plus it sounds pretty awesome when cranked.

Sure it ain't as Metal as a 5150 or as much of a tone box as a Classic Series

but it's still an awesome amplifier. Especially for the price.

thats the same Mesa Cab i'm getting. And is that Dual Rectifier the original 2-Channel or the newer 3-channel, my buddy in my bands brother band has the original 2-channel dual rectifier and its pretty friggin sweet, but he just traded it for a peavey 5150, he loved his mesa, but his other guitar player had the same one as well except his was the black diamond plate, so he wanted to have another amp so you could tell the two of them apart.

yeah i've played on one of those at guitar center awhile back, and they sounded really good. my old guitarist from the band i just quit has the valveking head, and he likes it, sounds pretty good.
