Hey fellow UGers. as you know its that time of year for free gifts and I need some opinions.

I own a squier strat affinity, and a vox ad15vt. I don't want a multi effect, but i am looking to add to my stock.

I want to achieve a sound as close as I can to david gilmour in the later albums like the division bell, or his new album On an Island.

what pedals do you guys recommend to help achieve that type of sound. I was thinking maybe a good OD, or perhaps an MXR dynacomp. but since I cant get all of them I figured you guys might have better suggestions.

I'm not sure whether an OD would work very good with a hybrid amp. Wait for the specialists though.

well, ill probably set up a great clean sound, and only use gain from the pedal, so it shouldn't be too bad even though it is a modeling amp right???
