on musicians friend they have guitars, like http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Limited-Edition-G400-with-EMG-8185?sku=519397X, that are blemished but are really reduced in their price. they say they are minor dents or scratches, which is not something that i mind too much. my question is if anyone here has gotten a blem item and if so what should i expect if i do get it?

I bought a blem Korg D888 from zZounds, and have no idea where that blem might be. I was plenty happy to get $150 off, though. Also bought an Epiphone Casino marked as a "2nd" on eBay, and it took me a while to find the circular indentation on the front of the guitar. Otherwise it's mint, and I got it for $200 less than comparable Casinos selling at the same time.

Often they're perfect, repacked items. Worth a shot, especially with MF, who let you return anything no questions asked.

Blems can range from a scracth to a freakin huge ass dent or something you cant even find. Its a hit and miss though. So be careful. And wear your lucky shoes, gotta have some of them,
