are the epiphone les paul customs good? Ive seen many mixed reviews but most say its damn good. The fender standard strat gets praised but i also hear its not really great for heavier music although some people use it for that. I play pretty much everything from punk to metal to classic. Which would be a better all around guitar?

with your line six it'll sound the same. you might as well go extremely cheap and go to a thrift shop

what im trying to say is DITCH LINE SIX

i would say a strat but others would say im biased cus thats what i own, but i have played the lps and they are great as well so you really have to play one yourself and decide on your own

#1 - So how many amps have you used? Only the spider?
#2 - Buy whatever guitar you like. I suggest you play them first though.

I've played some good Epi LP customs, and some bad. Same with the MIM fenders. However overall opinion is good.

Try em out and see what you like.

And ditch the Line 6
