I'm looking for small amp for practicing alone. I don't need much power but I'd like to have lots of effects. Well, Roland Micro Cube is good choice to me, huh? Other suggestions?

I hate to say it, but chances are the only thing good about that amp is the fact that the name looks a lot like the word "laser"...

You've pretty much answered your own question. The roland Micro Cube is what you want, and what you need.

30 watts is way too loud for a practice amp, my 15 watt is loud enough already. The XL series of the Valvetronix is good for metal too.
