I would just like to get my technique to a level where I can play most of the songs, nothing fast, without problems, so I was wondering if you have any songs for acoustic guitar (I'd like them to sound good) which would help in a specific way to develop technique...

I hope you know what I mean.

And yeah, thanks!

You might try some classical:

Bach's Bouree in E minor is good. "It is Bach and it rocks, it's a rock block of Bach!"

If you can nail that you'll be set. It's relatively easy.

Or a recent favorite of mine: On the Road Again by Willie Nelson.

Might want to slam a beer first.
"Virtually no one who is taught Relativity continues to read the Bible."

Basically anything (acoustic) by Al Di Meola will help with single note stuff.
ESP Custom Shop 40th Anniversary Eclipse
ESP Standard Eclipse-II
Ibanez AF85VLS
Anji - Davy Graham.

It's used to be a rite of passage for the folks guitarist. Not sure if it's still considered that, but it's a beautiful song.
