i almost always play sitting down so when i play standing up, i cant play as well, or alternate pick as fast or clearly.

any tips to help me?

i have that same problem because i started on an acoustic and never stood to play
(no strap)

i always try to practise standing up myself but i guess just hike ur strap up and practise like that and keep lowerin ur strap until u feel good about the hieght.

cuz fender is awxome its true
play with your guitar up higher, and then lower your strap after a while. you look dorky at first but it helps a lot.
TBH you wont look dorky, i mean look at the artic monkeys they have theres practically on the neck. so have it where ever is comfortable.
