wats the difference between 10 top flamed maple, and regular flamed maple?

10 top is better quality wood, usually highly figured as opposed to some tops that don't have much flame.

Gotcha.
I'd take it gibson doesnt use it on their lp's, do they? Last time i went to guitar center there was like 3/20 with a descent flame top

I also read that the 10 Top has no unflamed part on it, so it's all a consistent flame throughout the wood.
