I've been working on a project which i can't seem to get to work. I think there is something wrong with either the way i've wired the stereo input jack or else the way i wired it. So i've disconnected everything but now i want to know how i can connect the input jack to the output to check that everything's working without having to connect it to the other components

Connect the tip of the stereo jack to the tip of the mono jack. Connect the ground of the stereo to the ground of the mono.

If that is what you are asking...

Haha, and dont bump after 8mins.
