Vox 15ADVT
and
Roland Cube 30watt

I like metal, progressive metal/rock and similar genres.

But again I like to break out some Hotel California, or other classic rock songs too.

which is better?

I'm leaning towards the Vox, since it has a preamp/tube/whatever it is, and I have a tubescreamer I just got... So sort of redundant there unless I get a tube amp ._.

i have the vox AD50VT, and all i can say is that is is sick. THe presets on it are sortof weird distortion wise, the only one i use is the Numetal setting, but it works for everything. the manual settings are really versatile though because you take any preset and set your own equalizers to it. If i were you id keep saving for at least the 50, because it is really loud, and in the case you just wanna play in your room or something, it has a wattage dial on the back you can set from 0-50 watts. the 30 and 15 dont have that. i have had no problems with my vox so if you get that you can be confident lol.

sorry i probably dont make sense.

Well I have a tubescreamer and am getting a POD Pocket for my birthday for sure in a few weeks, so I'll use the distortion on those.

How is it clean?

should I get more than 15 watts? 30?
