Looks to me like in the first picture, there a screw on each end of the pickup. You should take them out then the pickup should come out. Wait for more opinions though because I'm only guessing.
#4
umm...unscrew the screws that are holding the pickup in place...just a thought

If you dont know how to take it out, what do you plan on doing to it to make it work?
#7
Why are you taking it out? There's going to be a big hole where the control plate is if you remove it. And yes, the screws holding it in can be turned out to remove it. Remember, righty-tighty / lefty-loosey.

A+ for effort in at least wanting to attempt to do it yourself! Seriously tho, if you can't even figure out how to get the parts out, how are you going to manage to fix it? Those parts are both electrical and electronic. Is there just a broken wire that needs soldering? Is it cracked? Some skills are needed to make this sort of repair. You'd be better off taking it in to a shop, or get someone knowledgable to help you out. Nothing against you, but if you don't know, you don't know right? There's a lot of information available here on UG, but we can't really be expected to train you up to speed on this sort of thing when some of us have spent years learning our crafts.
Now then, that all having been said, here's how to remove all the electronics.
1) remove the strings
2) remove the 2 screws on each side of the pickup, set the screws aside like in a cup for safe keeping, and leave the pickup inside for now
3) remove the 4 screws, the farthest out in each of the 4 corners of the volume/tone control. Leave it where it is for now
4) use the correct size wrench to remove the nut holding in the cord jack. You might need to hold the jack from inside as you loosen the nut so it won't turn. push the jack into the inside of the guitar
5) pull the control box (volume/tone) out and with it will come the pickup and jack. Just fish them out of the side hole.

It's going to be up to you as to what you do with it from here.
This info will cost you $20. Cash only please. Just kidding.

Before you take it apart, have you tried using a different cable or a different amp?
A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have moved on to rap music.
Put this in your signature if you are one of the 8% who stayed with the real music.

you change the battery yet?

Why on earth are you bumping such a dead thread? I doubt the author even regularly checks this forum, still.

I agree with LeftyDave..
do what he said.. then go to an electronics repair shop, they can fix your pickup.. the same thing happened to my guitar, although it's a bit cheap guitar.. they found out that one of the wires was not properly soldered or so.. then they fixed it..

may i ask where you are from HawtDawg?.. I'm from the philippines and i usually see guitars with the same specs as yours, especially the pickups..

unscrew the screws XD
thats all,
after you lift out the main pickup switches, unplug the wires that connects in it

what i mean is the wire that connects the switch and pick up[the one in the sound hole]
its like a jack or something

then unknot the knot at the buttom of guitar and do the same unplugging XD

And this thread ought to be closed. It's old, and the threadstarter hasn't replied in months.
