i really cant pick ive narrowed it down.......Randall RG100G3 G3 Series Guitar Combo Amp.......are they going to be able to handle hard metal.....Lamb of God in example.

and how long will these amps normally last me.......i hate fixing things......

im going through a schecter c-1 hellraiser.

Yeah, Randall and Crate amps work well with metal. They are usually built like a rock too. Will this be a gigging amp or a practice amp at home?? I mean, lugging your gig amp around has it's toll on the amp itself. i'd say since randalls are pretty solid, you wont have to repair it for a good year or more. Things do fall apart and screws fall out, it's a sad fact on the road or at a gig. If this is just a practice amp at home, you have nothing to worry about for a good while.

Get the RG50TC instead. It's all-valve and it has better tone than the G3.
