Okay, so does Firefox have a "run" feature for .exe files one might download? It is quite annoying that IE has the technology and Firefox does not, considering the latter is much better. I hate when I'm downloading programs and updates I have to actually save the file then run it.

BTW, I just like saying 'bbq' so it is of no relevance.

There is no "open" for .exe files, only for files that must be opened using another program. It would then give you the "open with" option.

maybe its the "security" part in the sense of "don't automatically run random executeable files off the internet"
