Hey guys I need some advice. I'm looking to get a perfect sound for blues. Here's the stuff I currently own:

- Fender HSS Standard Stratocaster
- Epiphone Valve Junior Half Stack
- Boss Super Overdrive
- Dunlop Original Crybaby

Now what else should I get?

Here's what i'm thinking:

- Save up for a Gibson Les Paul
-or-

- Buy a Epiphone Les Paul Standard

Now I'm going to be getting some pedals for Christmas as well, so what others do you think I should get, or I need any more pedals?

Sorry about the long thread but thanks in advance!

you've already got the strat, which I think would be better for blues than anything else.

BOSS blues driver pedal, and maybe an eq? other than that you're all set for the blues.

You could get $1000 custom made pickups hand wired with Eric Johnsons pubic hair, and they'd still sound pretty bad through a ****ty solid state practice amp.

Really? I thought Frontmans where highly respected around here?!

Sell BOSS, and get a TS9 or TS808, or the Maxon counterpart, OD9/OD808
get a reverb pedal, too.

I disagree. The TS's are way overrated and overpriced because of their SRV link. Boss does just as well with the BD-2 for nearly half the price.

You seriously have a perfect blues setup, you need nothing more...don't buy something new for the sake of change.
