I have two questions

1) Is it basically just a tremolo pedal?

2)why are there two pedals with nearly £100 price tag difference?

thanks

1) NO! It's a Leslie simulator.

2) The Rotovibe is different...

A Leslie is a rotating speaker cabinet that produces a vibrato effect

Rotovibe is just a univibe with variable rate via the pedal

Well a Leslie is a rotating speaker, which was used on organs (most famously the Hammond B3).

Some guitarist also used them for guiar, producing a very special rotating sound. Ag ood example of what it sounds like is Badge by Cream.

The Univibe was created to get that sound of a Leslie speaker, without having to use one. The Leslie was unpractical, being fragile, large and heavy. Good example of what a Univibe sounds like is Machine Gun by Jimi Hendrix.
