I bought a Stagg Flying V about 3/4 weeks ago and when i play, the strings make this sort of buzz-crack-ish noise. Is that normal and can I fix it?

That happend on my gretsch, i just got some graphite (a pencil) and rubed it in the nut and the bridge and it went away, hope this helps

does it come through your amp? ifnot then its just a normal acoustic buzz so dont worry bout it

if its coming through your amp then yo might wanna consider checking your inotation or bringing up your action

it might just be brand new strings, seeing as the guitars new.
when i buy new strings they always sound kinda tinny n buzzy untill afew days after

Yeah, and if you filed down your nut and it's still buzzing / CRACKING?! Then check your string height, and then see if your neck is warped.

then it might be one of the the other dudes suggestions,

But irst off check your innotation
Then check the neck for warping
if neither of those follow the suggestion about the nut
