Damit!! how hard is it to pick out a guitar???

Im just moving from an aucustic and want to get an electric for around/less than £150.
Ive spent the last few hours going through online stores and UG reviews but im still not any closer...

I want to play a range of things but focus mainly on hard rock/ heavy metal and some punk.

There`s so much arguing on the reviews and the guitars all have pretty much the same scores...
What would you guys recomend?

Thanks in adavance,

Has anyone ever caught their parents doing it?

Check out Jackson JS series models on thomann.de that's the cheapest I've ever seen them and I often use my JS30KV over my RR3
ohai little sig.

Stretch your budget a tiny bit and get an Ibanez RG321. It really is a good guitar for the price.

lol >_< done that...but i need to know which ones are actually good/would suit me

and anyone else agree with the RG321? I was thinking about that...

How long have you been playing acoustic for?
When I first went from acoustic to electric I hadn't been playing the acoustic for very long, only something like 4 months. Another thing you need to think about is the AMP! the best thing to do would be to get a pack, which'll come with all the accesories you need, and it'll come with an amp as well. The only thing is you need to find a pack which has a decent one, not a crap 10w one I got in the pack I got (Squier SE Series one) squier does do another pack which comes with a better amp if you're interested.
