Yes...but probably in a negative way currently. When me and my mate get our "band" together properly, I doubt it, but I currently spend a lot of time playing guitar rather than getting out with other people.

monsta edit: I too, end up talking about music all the time. And whenever there's a guitar around, I'm always playing it. But I haven't changed anything physically though.

Yeah. Whenever I see a guitar I want to play it, I discuss music more than anything else.

I haven't changed the way I dress because of music though.

Yes, I've found out that music is what influences me most in my life. Not because of what to wear or style but because of thought, art, how I play my music, my knowledge of music, and the list goes on.
But there are some negative effects of being a music listener.
1). People dress just like their favorite band, or how their fans dress, and they make the fact that they listen to that band their whole identity. Same goes with playing an instrument.
2). The fact that they listen to that band gives them all the rights in the world to make fun of another band.
3). Because of listening to that band, the topic of that band is so common in general conversations that other people begin to not want to talk to you. Leading to more angst.

well, i certainly dress like a musician....tight pants, and a band t-shirt
and i always end up lecturing my friends about certain aspects of music.
but honestly, before i got into playing, i was a boring dick and btw, for your paper, makes sure that you include that girls always love the guy who can play guitar.

the fact that i listen to tons of music does affect my lifestyle. i cannot tel you if it is in a good way or a bad way though...it does both.

i guess it depends on the music. say, i listen to nothing but coheed for a little while, i feel somewhat happy and laid back, and i feel like writing a concept album.

say i listen to pantera, i feel like drinking all the time and shredding more and more. and im always in a good mood.

say i listen to cannibal corpse for a while, i end up hating everything in existence and act out toward others at school.

say i listen to type o negative, i feel like killing myself and becoming a vampire.

say i listen to guns n roses, i feel like kicking everyone else out of my band, becoming a singer, and reinventing my lifestyle/music, to something completely different to what it was before.

So I just woke up sitting in my desk chair, with my bong on the desk in a bunch of little pieces and my hand super glued to my penis. Speculations as to what the hell just happened and how to unglue my hand from my member would be appreciated.

i hate that, people who change the way they dress and act because of there music, i listen to metal and people think that i should dress like that but i also listen to indie, rock, rock n roll, shred, occasionally pop and other stuff so when people say you cant listen to that a dress like you do, i think its stupid, i mean i have nothing agaisnt people who dress like that but i just dont like it it annoys me

Well, music mainly affects my drawing since I always listen to music to seek out some sort of inspiration. And yeah, whenever there's a guitar around, I tend to want to play it. Music doesn't have a negative effect on me and it hasn't changed the way I dress.
