My friend is asking me because he wants to get a new amp. Is a Roland D-Bass good or should he get a Fender(do they even exist)? I think he has about 500$ price range. We're gonna start a band next year(School BOTB), and I'm gonna use a Peavey Classic 30, so he's gotta have a bass amp loud enough to be heard.

Personally I'd get this or this.

Ashdown make great amps and they will easily be loud enough to be heard.

I'm not sure how readily available they are in Qatar or how much they convert to be in Riyals either though.
