ok, heres the deal, im stuck between two multi-effects pedals

Boss GT-8 .. http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/EN/GT-8/
Zoom G9.2tt .. http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/g92tt/

As far as i can see the zoom is easier to use and has lots of effects but the boss sounds better with the effects it has and is more reliable

I really only want something that i can save patches and switch between them at the flick of a switch, i dont know if any of these are capable of this though

can anyone help?

Well, if all you need is a pedal with with patches and presets, i would go with something much more simple. I own a Zoom GFX1. it has 4 preset pedals and 10 different banks, so in total theres 40 presets (4 x 10). Its only 5 by 10 inches but it seems to have everything you need

Dude, buy a Digitech RP350. Ive had one for a couple months now, i wouldnt trade it for anything.

i am happy with the choice i mean, i can tweak sounds to perfection, save them and then switch between them with the flick of a switch
