I like a lot of non english speaking bands... but not so much Rammstein or Dir en Grey (though i will say they are pretty interesting)

I do love the japanese rock band Boris, which I highly recommend.
#4
I'm usually not into them as much as bands that DO speak English, but there are exceptions, such as the Mars Volta who have lyrics that are about 35% Spanish / 65% English.

I'm a big fan of Rammstein. I also like Die Toten Hosen (there's an umlaut in there somewhere) who are from Germany too. There's a couple of Italian and Japanese bands I like, but not enough to remember the names. I just have them in my music folder.

German bands and some Japanese bands. KMFDM uses a wide array of languages to a pretty good effect.

Lonely, Dear sings in English, but it's not their native language. Quebec has a few good francophone bands like Malajube, Les Cowboys Fringants and Beau Dommage.

Good music isn't really bound to language for me. I listen to stuff in Gaelic, German, Japanese, Swedish, and Swahili, to name a few. I'll probably get ripped apart for this, but Latin music grates my ears - I prefer the Castellan dialect to the Central-South American Spanish.

cakemonster, I believe you mean Utada Hikaru. If you like her, you might also enjoy Ishikawa Chiaki. Her music tends to be a bit darker, though.

I like Sigur Ros (Icelandic) and Melt-Banana (Japanese). Sigur Ros is great chill out music, Melt-Banana is crazy noisecore stuff (although I'm not sure if there lyrics are in English or not, theyre really hard to understand).
