One word...Awesome. Well they are really good anyway. My RR3 has an L-500XL in the bridge and a L-500Clean in the neck. They XL is really great. Its great at harmonics and has a great low end but the highs are also great. The only thing that I don't like about them is that the Clean and XL aren't really a good match for each other. I'd recommend them for metal but I'd go for the XL in the bridge and the Rythym for the neck, or maybe a Seymour Duncan 59 or something like that.

Well I use mine for metal but if you roll back the volume it can do blues okay. For the Ratt/Skid Row I'd say its pretty good. I think it has a little more low end then that stuff but it sounds great doing pretty much anything. I can play Tool, SRV, The Killers, Metallica, Pantera, or Iron Maiden and it does all pretty good, but its better at the heavier stuff.
