Hey UG,

I'm fifteen at the moment and at around 5'10 which is pretty average. I was growing quite a lot for the past few years but I seemed to have stopped now and I really don't like it. I really want to get quite tall as it is my ambition to become a rugby player and the particular position I want to play at requires you to be very tall.

Any tips on how to increase your growth rate?
Foods, hours of sleep, stretches etc.?

Thanks.

I hope to god this is a joke

Why should this be a joke? I know I'm not small by any stretch of the imagination, but I am very conscious about my height seeing as compared to my friends I am relatively small.
Please don't mock me about this.

You can only do so much man. Eating your vegetables is only going to stop you from being shorter than your genetics allow. If you really want to cheat genetics, gravity stunts your growth, so you could lie down a lot, or go to space or something.

eat your vegetables, drink your milk, the basics... really your not gonna grow any taller just because you stretch or eat some magic food. although it wouldn't hurt

Second row? Its really a myth that you need to be really tall for that position. Just bulk up dude, you dont need height for rugby.

Im not a good example because im 6ft 3 and a second row,but really flanker or 8 is better, and your height should be fine. You are 15, youl grow no bother.

Hey UG,

I'm fifteen at the moment and at around 6 inches which is pretty average. My penis was growing quite a lot for the past few years but I seemed to have stopped now and I really don't like it. I really want to get quite big as it is my ambition to become a pornstar and the particular skank ass ho's I want to screw at requires you to be very big.

Any tips on how to increase your growth rate?
Foods, hours of sleep, stretches etc.?

Thanks.

Well I came here with a question and now it's been answered. I don't find this sort of stuff common knowledge, and I'm sure I'm not alone. There's no need to tell me I must be joking.

Being tall sucks. You can't dance with girls unless you let them lead, because you end up having to put your arms over their shoulders. I had that problem last night, and it very nearly ruined the night. Not to mention that you can't dance at all if you're very tall. People stare at you everywhere, and wherever you go, it's always "Wow, you're tall", like you don't know it. You can't buy clothes in your size, nor shoes, nor cars, nor guitars.

Moral of the story: being 6'3" sucks. Be happy being 5'10"

Height is a very sensitive issue, if you were short then it would make more sense.

Yeah, wait.

Very little you can do other than that.

Your height is almost entirely pre determined, as long as you aren't malnourished.

What is the average weight of a 5'10 male?

130 lbs? I dunno, I'm like 6'0 and I'm about 140, 150 lbs.

Sorry I can't convert that to a weight you use, I'm a stupid American
Who dat?
#33
If youve already gotten to this height there isnt a problem, but to get the required protein and calorie intake might possibly max out your height. If its a little low

Alright guys, thanks for your advice. It really helped. I know it sounds weird, but I really am quite sensitive about this and I don't mean to offend anyone by what I was saying.

Why does it matter? You are who you are. If you can run and push people, then you can play rugby. If you can't, then go do some exercise. If you want the average mass of a 5'10" male, then you'll have obese people in there, and extremes always throw averages off. If you're a teenager, and you should be a lighter, less muscular than an adult too.

There is no ideal height/mass or ratio of the two. Why do you want to play a specific position anyways? Rugby is a pretty team-work oriented game, and there are plenty of positions to play. Can't you just be happy playing?

Yeah you are right. It's just the fact that I was always used to being the tallest in my friendship groups but now I'm just average compared to most and it just sort of gets to me in some ways.

I'd like to play second row as I've played there for a good four years and I've got the most experience in that position. I also love the mentality and physical fitness needed to play the game as a forward.
