hey guys,

I play anything from EVH to Megadeth to Pantera to Tool

I'm looking into getting a 6505+ Head.

How good are Avatar cabs? I was able to find a Canadian site that ships avatar products to me.

I don't think I want a 4x12, so I was looking at the G212H Vintage

What speakers will be best for my musical style?
Celestion Vintage 30s (60w)
Celestion Greenback's (25w)
Celestion G12H30s (30w)
Celestion G12T75's (75w)
Celestion Classic Lead 80's (80w)
Hellatone 30s (30w)
Hellatone 60s (60w)

I'm totally lost...

I hate seeing cute girls topless and what not, it just feels wrong.

I think I will. They have been getting awesome reviews on harmony-central so that should go good with a 6505+

Wow, the freakin head is going to be almost the size of the cab!

head - 10" H x 26.625" W x 11.75" D
cab - 24.5" H x 30" W x 12 " D

Vintage 30's are the standard speaker for hard rock/metal/sausagecore. A 2x12" is a good choice to balance portability/projection.

Sausagecore, I hear that's pretty hardcore stuff!

Avatar makes a great cab for the money, Vintage 30s will be the best for you (imo).

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

^^Sausagecore is my running gag definition for screamo/emo/math metal/-core. Anything ultra heavy, stupidly descriptive genre.
