just came across this song I wrote ages ago and i dont think I've posted it yet. Anyway... here it is 'Solar Heart (her name was Rose)'

This story will start with a solar bleeding heart
In the shadow of a midnight rose
A painting of your soul
A photo of you heart

Her name was Rose
Black swans fly in unison
She left me a dream in the rain

I left a charcoal flower upon your grave
The sky bled with my sorrow
A trail of tears led from the graveyard
Down the roads of tomorrow

Her name was Rose
Black swans fly in unison
She left me a dream in the rain

My loss I cannot define
Cannot turn back the ways of time

Is that your ghost in the snow Rose?
I call out in a nightmare
But your not there!
… there’s always tomorrow?

There’s only one thought in my mind

Her name was Rose
Black swans fly in unison
She left me a dream in the rain
Raise your chalice my brother
Raise it high
To catch the fire that falls from the sky

... "down the roads of tomorrow" - sometimes we wish there were no dead end streets at all
... nice words up there, nice pictures - i especially like the question about tomorrows! Don't change it, to me it carries the pain in a perfect way ...
