I've seen a few of these on eBay, but that's about the only place. Anyone know if they're any good? I'm getting a weekend job just to buy an amp, and I'm pretty sure I'm buying a tube combo.

I know about the 6505/5150, those are some other choices I was looking at, but I've seen the "Mother" thread, so I got a lot of info on them. Don't tell me just to get one of these, I know they're awesome. They're on my list of possible buys.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

Definitely a lot of different types of metal, but I do some clean stuff once in a while. I also happen to need something LOUD for small gigs.

Mark IV can do everything and quite well. 'Nuff said.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
