I'm looking to buy a floyd rose trem for my Ibanez, but I don't know how to find the right size.

What Ibanez do you have?

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

GSA 20. It's in the GIO series, I really want to put a floyd on it but this is stumping me.

19.5mm nut width.

You'd have to rout the body so a double-locking trem would fit.

Why not just get locking tuners?

Would that let me whammy and not go out of tune? I also want to be able to pull the whammy up instaead of just down.

Just buy this instead.

Too much hassle to put one in, and probably not all that worth it .

Locking tuners and a roller nut do help with standard trems.
