so i downloaded guitar hero 3 for pc, i'm bored =P

and the file downloaded fine, basically it was a an .mdf extension and an .mds extension file, and with isobuster, i was able to open those and extract what i needed to to install it.

so now, it's installed on my computer and in program files and everything, but of course when i click to play it, it says i need to insert the cd, which i expected.

but now i don't know what to do?
i forgot what i'm supposed to do, like mount the file or whatever, and how to do it?
so if anyone could help me, i'd appreciate it a tonnnnnn.

thank you very much.

oh and if i did anything wrong or missed something in the installation or w/e, let me know too.

uh oh.

i clicked to mount the iso file, and a guitar hero III box popped up that reads:

Emulator Detected!
Please Deactivate virtual drive and emulation software.

[Ok]

is that bad?
and what can i do about it?

Um, can't you just write the ISO file onto a disc? Then insert that disc, and play the game?
#10
what kind of disc would you like need for that?
like the same kind of disc you could burn music on?

and i think you can just mount it on like a virtual hard drive on your computer without a disc, but i'm really not sure.
