Tom183 got them all correct. Branny1982 and demon of the night got the first one right. Though the middle one was actually a muck up by me with bad tabbing. So I'm sorry about that.

And the key is *drum roll* G major, as there is only 1 sharp

Thank you, first one I've ever answered that I've been confident about my answer, although at first I got my notes wrong

EDIT: If by some miracle I'm right, am I allowed to post aural questions? Like listening to chords

Demonofthenight got them all right except the 6th one. I was looking for a rootless Em. frankv is right by the way, when notating slash chords, the chord goes to the left of the slash and the bass note to the right. Eg: D/F#
Demonofthenight can go :-)
#126
Wait... What was the sixth chord than?

Okay, I'm gonna do something new. This is an aural question. I've attached an mp3 (lame vbr format) of a chord. TFour questions:

1. What is the root/bass (its the same here) of the chord?
2. What is the third of the chord? (as in is it major or minor)
3. And what is the extention of this chord? (does it have a 7 or an add 9 or add 11 or add13 or so on)
4. What is the full name of the chord?

If enough people complain that my question is lame, than Tom can repost another question.

Oh and hows my recording sound?

Amajor13? so A is the root, then a major third and the extension is f# (13th)

A rootless Em.

I think its a great type of question and the recording sounds fine. Trying to figure it out as we speak. Will post again when i have an answer.

As is seems no one else is going to post, so the game keeps going on I will say the answer.

Bigal_85 was the closest. Its a combination of both bigals answer and toms answer, Amaj7add13. So I guess its bigals turn.

Ha, not sure what you're looking for on the first chord so I'm just guessing...

AmM7/F
Cmaj7+
AmM7

A Harmonic minor

^read the rules plz.

'No POSTING OUT OF TURN, this will result in a warning/ban depending on your warnings situation. We will really be cracking down on this, so hopefully everybody will take the time to read the rules.'

Yea that works, I actually had A13 - A7#5 - A7 in mind but they're all rootless voicings & your answers are right in the context of Eb....there's no point in making you try to be a mind reader

Ok, I'll keep the ball rolling...

So, to move things:

E-------------0
B---------12--9
G-14--13--11--9
D-11--11--10--9
A-12--12--10--
E--0---0---x--

Easy, but actually a pretty cool progression.
Try to play it.

A - Amaj7 - Balt - E?

Balt meaning B7b9#5, or more specifically Baddb9+ in the case of this voicing.

I'm rusty.
#145
F+ or F#m (Rootless)

Amaj7

Csus#11

E

Could that be anywhere close to it??

JohnlJones : Yes. Your turn.
Hurlyz: Why rootless F#m, when it is simply A major triad. Don't complicate it.
Csus#11 - But there is a B note?

Tom: Gmaj11 is correct, but not the name I ask for (you know, progression and stuff).

Cheers.

I thought A - Amaj7 sounded weird... and my progression was going F-A-C-E (thirds) so I thought that may be it...

It's not going like that. First, you must guess someone's else question, wait 'til he confirms and then you can post your chord(s).

BTW, B7.

Everything works but the 1st chord, you just need to rename that one & name the key. All of the voicings are fairly ambiguous and can be named in a variety of ways, which I like, so I'll take any answer that is technically correct
#154
Ah, Emadd11.

So the key would be E minor?

Yeah Em or G works for the key, for instance the first chord could also be called G6/9. You're up

G-11--11--

Chord names are incorrect.
You are on the right track with harmonic minor, but not G.

E Harmonic Minor??

If I'm on spot, I'll give my turn cause I won't be on inside 24h probably.... Branny would deserve it but whoever wants it just takes it!

B7addb9 and Ebdim7. I agree that the scale is E Harmonic Minor.
