Okay so last night I started freaking out

I really only use my neck and bridge pick ups and decided to switch to middle and then
*gasp* no sound!

I remained calm, opened the back cover and checked for cold solder joints and found one. But it was just for a ground wire and didn't think it would change anything, which it didn't. A couple mins ago I realized that if I push the pup down towards the bridge it works perfectly fine. I then relaxed knowing that the pup was in perfect working order.

So my question is, what does the back the of pup look like? What could be loose? I would just unscrew it and find out myself but I don't have any new strings ATM.

Thanks.

You'll see some wires going into the pickup, so you might not (in fact, you probably won't) see where they're attached. You'll have to mess around with it carefully to see if you can open the back cover.
