I'm after a Paul Gilbert kind of tone on a £350 budget. I play Paul Gilbert stuff, hence why I'm after his tone, and have been looking at the VC30, is it good value for money, a good amp for the budget i'm on and is it good for a paul gilbert tone.

I've heard 30 watts of tube is good enough for home practice, recording and gigging, so will this be up to that job too?

VC30 won't do Gilbert, I have a feeling the LC30 would struggle a bit too.

If you can look into a second hand GH50L or maybe a VC50/100.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?
