hey guys ive been looking to getting a vintage JCM 800 2203 head, i noticed that some though were from the early eighties (1981-83) and that some were from the later eighties (1988) if anyone knows could you tell me differences in the sound, reliability etc? thanks

2203 = 2203
there shouldn't be much of a difference

2204 is the 50watt version

2210 is 100w with reverb and 2 channels and some other stuff, 2205 is the is 50watt version of this one

also, you can get a 2203 from the late 70s, they did them as JMPs too

the ones with 6 caps (those blue can-looking things) are best IMO. Thats the biggest difference. There are other small differences
