To finish this off

Em- 9th fret
G- 10th fret

I'm looking for something really "airy" and "open"
but I'm not sure what to use

Csus2 maybe. I'm not sure since I don't have an axe in front of me .

Would you do it?

Would you do it?

With all your power,
What would you do?

Try a Dmaj barre chord (5th fret A string)

edit: I think it sounds good. It makes it a ii-IV-I progression which actually sounds cool.

A C chord could work, it should sound finished after the G.

B minor might work- it shares a lot of notes with E minor and G scales.

I don't have an instrument on me, so I can't say for sure. But try those out.

Sounds more like a I-bIII-bVII prog on the Em to me, which also sounds great. D-Em-G-D in open chords sounds more like what you described, imo.

Try A7 (C-shape, root on 12th fret).

Actually I figured it out

which was a Dmaj..lol

I didn't notice metal4all already said that lol

because I was using a little lead in between the chords and I knew it could end on 7th fret so I used a Dmaj

thanks guys
