Yeah ive got a question, could someone answer, fast?

How Would the Digitech Metal Master Distortion pedal work with my Epiphone Les Paul 100, and my Laney Mxd-65.

Ive got a good feeling about it. XP

Would it work? Yes. Would it sound good? Probably not.

If you really want a good distortion pedal try a EHX Metal Muff.
Gear:
Schecter C-1 BlackJack
Peavey 5150 II
Ibanez 25W "Tone Blaster"
Fender Starcaster (Not the vintage kind, the Wal-Mart Value kit kind"

If Dimebag22 was a pie, I would cover him with whipped cream and eat his insides...

I just find the pedal dull. I'd suggest maybe an Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff or the MXR DD-11 Dime Distortion.

I second the Metal Muff. Heavy metal goodness with a built in EQ. Built like a freakin' tank too.

so how are these pedals for lead guitar playing? What i want is a combination of heavily distorted riffing and great soloing qualitys.

The Metal Muff is perfect for you then. It has a boost switch if you want a little added volume for leads and such.

Well, the Muff gets pretty damn heavy and it has a top boost feature (a treble boost basically) that is great for getting your solos to cut through the mix.
