ok i dont know whether this is the right place to post this but i cant really see anywhere else so here goes...
i am looking to buy an electric piano however have no knowledge of makes brands that are good
could anyone recommened anything? im not tlooking to spend loooooads of money but would still like something decent

we have a yamaha digital piano and we used to have a roland clavinova. both were fairly good for the price.

It depends what you mean by decent. By my standards (which require decent key weighting) you probably can't get below $600 unless you go used.

The Yamaha P70 and Kurzweil SP88X might be good places to start.
