I was wondering if any major bowing would occur if I were to keep my guitar drop tuned to 1 step down from standard.

Also I was thinking If I were to keep it in that or lower, would it help to put 11's on it, since I have a pair of them, currently I'm using 10's.

I would get it set up properly for that tuning if I was you, it might take a long time but it might happen eventually and no one wants that.

one of my guitars had no strings on for about 5 years, nothing wrong with it. So im failing to see drop tuning could do anything dramatic. If it did start to bow just adjust your trussrod?
