Ok, I've been trying to understand chord tabs but I have failed.
I dont understand them at all.

Right now im trying to play moments by emerson drive.

I was coming to the end of a long long walk when a man crawled out of a cardboard box under the

A E
E street bridge followed me on to it

Ok listening to the song 123098304823 times i still dont understand it.

The guitarist is playing triplets but not chords, just single notes. but this tab is saying just play it once?
I am so confused.

lets say - - - is a triplet and = is 2 quarter note tie
the guitarplayer is playing - - - = - - - = - - - = but thats not a chord.

Can someone tell me how to read a chord tab?

you just have to put ur fingers in the chord position and then find a picking pattern(order in which the strings are picked) in order to closely resemble the song. i think emerson drive is country and most country music is really busy with pedal steels fiddles banjos whatever else so its hard to be spot on all the time but you can atleast get the overall jist of the song

ohhh. gotcha..
thanks a lot.

I just thought when it said the chord the just strum it once, but when listening to it i knew that was wrong.

thanks a ton.
