good deal since they go for 1200, right?

anyway, could i cab this out to a smaller watt cab? like 30 watts. i know, it's not really taking full advantage of it, but i really want a metal amp and this is an awesome deal. not sure that'd even work since the head is 120w...

at that price, buy it anyway. you can sell it on ebay and make some money.
If you cant use it, that is.

i have no plans on turning it up too loud. so what's a good cab for metal around 30w? don't wanna spend too much. $200 i guess.

I would not risk it- I would not ever run a head that can put out 120 watts through a 30 watt cab...It's just far too risky.

just buy his head, and then ebay it.... or just go pawn it off at GC and trade for something you do want, if youre worried about stabbing ur friend in the back or something
