Right, so i play classic/hard rock/prog/psycadellic music (bassically and thing from the 60s/70s) and i need a wah pedal.....

obviously ive got the usual suspects:

Geoffery Teese
Budda
Vox
Fulltone
Dunlop

But which is best for the style i like?

i like this wah sound, kind of not a full sweep just enough to really acent the notes nicely. my style is siamilar to this and a little bit jeff beck/ eric johnson/ henrixy kind of thing.

What would you recomend? I know that the guitarist here uses a dunlop wah that has mods done to it so i guess a dunlop 535q is the same thing right?

What would you suggest for a similar style rock to this?

Teese RMC Picture wah, it works all the way up to classic rock/punk gain

i have a picture wah and i love it. great sweep, tons of fun. i would take it over most wahs, i was torn between a fulltone clyde deluxe and picture wah. Went with the picture wah, but also check out the Wizard wah its supposed to handle gain alot better

yeah, Teese RMC would be good for that

or, if you're willing to mod a Crybaby you can do it pretty easily

Thanks guys, the problem with that band is that theyve had quite a few line up changes (all though that one is probably one of my favourites) thanks for the help.

You two wont know this but does any one know where i can buy a picture wah or similar type wah in london?

*btw isnt the picture wah a clyde wah clone?

As people said before me the RMC wahs are definatly worth a look in. I think the Vox and won't really be able to handle enough gain for Hard Rock, have a look at the Fulltone Clyde, it's great for Hendrix type stuff and it handles quite a bit of gain. Also i've found the Crybaby 535q to be quite nice aswell, not sure what it's like for cleans though
