ok! So I own a ****ty Crate FW120 212, and I was wondering, is there any possible way to turn a solid state combo into a tube combo? If it is, how would I go about doing this? Any good amp making sites or anything I could use as a guide? I have tried google, but I wasn't too terribly successful. I plan on using the ol 3 12AX7 and 4 EL34 combo. I will admit, I'm too poor to afford a good amp, and I do love modding/customizing cheap stuff. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Hmm...
Maybe. I'm fascinated with this idea also. It seems like you wouldn't be able to though. Atleast not very easily.

I plan on basically cleaning out innards and replacing it completely.

EDIT: I plan on using the current amp mostly for an enclosure. Can anyone recommend a good 30 or so watt kit?
