so i was wondering what would you guys recommend. i want a new distortion pedal with a lot of versatillity. i play a lot of grunge, metal, and classic rock and im not to sure what to get.

well i have a line 6 spider 1. and im willing to spend a little over 100 dollars for a new pedal.

dont waste your money on a pedal. modelling amps dont sound good with pedals. get a new amp.

Hmm, pedals sound fine on the clean channel of modelling amps, just awful on anything else.

But yeah, I'd save up some cash towards a new amp, maybe ask Santa to help out too or something.

I'll probably get it from someone on this, but I just picked up the DigiTech Distortion Factory and I've really enjoyed it. It has the Boss D-1, Pro Co Rat and the Metal Zone settings.

It's a modelling pedal, but for what I use it for, I'm happy with it.
