Has anyone heard of these guys?

They're a 3-piece from England I believe, I saw them at Lollapalooza and this guy can rip a guitar. They did some great originals, and a Clapton cover and an amazing Red House cover.

I reccomend their album Roll Away for sure, some great riffs and just great overall blues tracks. yep.....

It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works.

There's 2 songs acoustically, what a great voice as well.

Wow! Amazing stuff.

Thanks for this man.

Dang dude you found some gold on this.
Sounds like a cross of Jonny Lang and Edwin McCain

Really good stuff. Thanks!

I just saw them last week, and this band is amazing live. If you've only heard the album, (which is damn good), you're only hearing half the story. There's a reason why these young lads made it to #5 on the Billboard Blues Charts with 'Roll Away', and it's that they rock the blues convincingly way past their young years. I highly recommend catching this band live, they'll blow you away. Davy Knowles is one of the top young blues guitarists around. Be sure to meet them after the show, as they're some of the nicest and humble you're bound to meet.

Here's a review of the show, with a video of "Gotta Leave"

Been watchin a bunch of vids on youtube.

Davy Knowles is just amazing. I think eventually he'll ditch the other guys though. The drummer, especially, is clearly not in the same league as Davy.

^ Are they working on a new album currently? I think they are on tour with Gov't Mule right now, or at least were recently...

Not that I've heard of, but still, anxious as ever.

And now that I look at it, they are still on tour with Gov't Mule, and not only that, but I might actually have a chance to go see them. AWESOME.

Edit: Not awesome, can't get a ride/too far...

Saw them a couple of months back I thought they were great live but was a little disappointed with the album but I am sure there is much more to come...
#28
Apparently they're having a break now from touring and then recording a new album early next year. Should be good, by the comments on their myspace page they seemed to gain a lot of support on their massive USA tour so I'd expect them to be huge 'news' when the 2nd album comes out if it's any good.

Anyone know what kinda amp/pedals Davy uses?

From what I know, a Fender Twin Reverb, Marshall JCM800, and a Tubescreamer of some sorts. I'm pretty sure there's more and I might be wrong however.

Know what model jcm800?

I think the 2203.

I saw his rig in an issue of Guitar World a while back.

Oh ya, I missed that article but have the magazine. I'll go on a search.

For anyone who's wondering, his main amp is a Vox AC30.

Got the first album, ordered a shirt and am getting an ep of blues covers for free with it. Pretty sweet. I've listened to the album probably 30 times so far, good stuff

Haha, this is awesome! We did a pub tour of the Isle Of Man recently with the help of their old manager and everywhere we went, including the radio station, we were compared to 'Back Door Slam'; though that wasn't much of a compliment since we'd never heard of them
This is the first time I've seen their name mentioned outside the I.O.M, we had no idea they had such a following!

From what I've just seen on Youtube they look like a talented bunch of guys though, great to see them doing so well.
I guess the only way for young English rockers to get a break right now is to head over the pond, the UK scene is infested with indie-pop bollocks.
