Your gear says you have 2 other guitars. Tune one of those down and use it for that one song

I assume you dont have any thicker strings to put on your guitar?

Edit: posted before your last post; Is there any chance you could get your hands on strings a gauge higher tonight or before you go play with your band?

no i dont, unfortunatly
nah, i already tried all the guitarists i know and the nearest store is 2 hours away, so imm screwed. 10's wont handle c?

eh, I used to use 1-'s for drop C; they dont work well for Drop C, so I doubt they'll work well for C standard; when are you playing with your band tomorrow?

You could get a pair of strings before you go and play, and change em real quick, mess around and get used to the upgrade in thickness.

we play right after school lets out, like right after.
and my parents wont get me strings.
i though that drop c was lower than c standard.

Worst case scenario, if you can't get strings and can't tune a guitar that low while maintaining playability, could you play your part an octave up? Even if you can't play it exactly you could probably adapt it and make it work well enough for the rest of the band to get their practice out of it.

Nah, Drop C is when Your Low E string is tuned to C, and the rest of your guitar (ADGBE), is tuned to D standard(a step down from E).

Thats dropped C, not C standard.
Your going to C so I guess your playing metal..... do you really need a neck pickup ?

You could just block your trem to avoid any changes in bridge height, and attempt to tune that low, though it probably won't work so great.
