The VBT is also part of the X series, but it was discontinued quickly after the release:



They share the same quality, pickups, number of frets, materials and electronics.

The main differences are shape, finish, inlays, reversed or non-reversed headstock and the tremolo.

Silly how the VBT got the prestige treatment on its bridge, while the XPT got the EIII.

The VBT actually seems like a very nice instrument.

It was said to have problems with neck warping. Also, the high fret access wasn't very nice. Too bad since it was a cool instrument otherwise =(
